Exercising with purpose
There are three basic types of exercise you can do, depending on your goal.
Aerobic Exercise
Aerobic exercise, or cardio exercise, is intended to improve the way your body consumes oxygen. Aerobic exercise is great for keeping yourself healthy and fit or for losing weight. Some effective aerobic exercises include walking, running, hiking, basketball, tennis, racquetball, handball, swimming, Cross-Country Skiing, biking and so on.
Flexibility Exercise
Flexibility exercises increase flexibility and alleviate muscle pains and injuries... or so we're told.
Strength Exercise
Strength exercise, or anaerobic exercise, will build muscle mass. An example of anaerobic exercise would be weight lifting
