The Dark Knight
Score: 4 out of 5
Batman Begins was the best in franchise history, but we have a new champion.
The Dark Knight delivered thrills from start to finish. Now, it wasn't the greatest movie ever made, as the hype might lead you to believe, but it's certainly one of the best action movies ever made. We've broken it down below into what worked and didn't work for us - you'll have to highlight below each section as we're using a white font so we don't spoil the movie for anyone.

What Worked: (highlight for spoilers)
Nearly every moment of every action sequence.
Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent - excellant performance!
Heath Ledger as The Joker - he did a very nice job and will probably win awards for two reasons: he was over looked for Brokeback Mountain, which we didn't see, but not awarding him something for his role is widely considered one of the great robberies of all time and American's love affair with giving people awards after they're gone.

What Didn't Worked:(highlight for spoilers)
Cell phone radar vision - not bad, but not great.
Gordon's fake death - straight up lame. Obviously, Jim Gordon is one of the most important characters in the series, and he can't die.
The dogs attacking Batman - that was weird. And it happened twice. We do believe the Joker had a fondness for savage animals in the comics, though...
