Alice in Wonderland
In an effort to keep up with the Joneses on the unoriginal bastard front, Disney will bring us a (mostly) live action version of Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, who love to team up together to get their weird on. Can't expect much to come from this after the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory disaster accept another charismatic performance from Depp. But, judge for yourselves from the teaser below. It's worth mentioning that Disney's animated version of this tale is a legitamit classic and one has to wonder what is so appealing about brining something to the big screen when they've already done it once, even if it was a long time ago. Producing a remake of an old movie is one thing, but remaking your own movie is another... this is usually called a sequel! Think, 'The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea.'
