Yankees 2010 batting order
[Feb 2010 by jamie] - I believe the Yankees will sport three different batting orders this year, and they all hinge on Jorge Posada. Batting Order A is what we'll see most of the time, these being days that Jorse Posada is the catcher, Batting Order B will be the days he is resting and Batting Order C will be the days he is the DH. Obviously, that C lineup is looking short, and if there is a day in there when Randy Winn gets a start in the outfield, the other team would be wise to start a left handed pitcher as Granderson doesn't hit lefties well at all. But, if Brett Gardner doesn't perform well, who knows who'll end up starting in left field by the end of the year? It probably won't be Randy Winn; we'll guess that much.
Batting Order A:
1. Derek Jeter
2. Nick Johnson - DH
3. Mark Teixeira
4. Alex Rodriguez
5. Jorge Posada - C
6. Robinson Cano
7. Nick Swisher
8. Curtis Granderson
9. Brett Gardner
Batting Order B
1. Derek Jeter
2. Nick Johnson - DH
3. Mark Teixeira
4. Alex Rodriguez
5.
6. Robinson Cano
7. Nick Swisher
8. Curtis Granderson
9. Francisco Cervell
10. Brett Gardner
Batting Order C
1. Derek Jeter
2. Curtis Granderson
3. Mark Teixeira
4. Alex Rodriguez
5. Jorge Posada - DH
6. Robinson Cano
7. Nick Swisher
8. Francisco Cervelli - C
9. Brett Gardner
